How we're funded — honestly.
The site is funded by display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google chooses and places those ads; we don't sell ad space to prop firms, and a firm's ad appearing next to a ranking is Google's placement, not a deal with us. There are no sponsored placements and no affiliate commissions wired up — the “Get evaluation” links point straight to each firm's official site.
No advertiser, firm or partner can influence a score, rank, or what we publish: the PFM Score is computed from official-site facts by a public formula, and the ad system has no input to it. If we ever add affiliate links to keep the lights on, we'll disclose it clearly on the page. Independence isn't a launch phase here; it's the entire product.
